麤人

[lang id =1028]麁人 The immature man of Hīnayāna, who has a rough foundation, in contrast with the mature or refined [lang id =1028]細人 man of Mahayana. Tiantai applied [lang id =1028]麤 to the [lang id =1028]藏, [lang id =1028]通, and [lang id =1028]別 schools, reserving [lang id =1028]細 for the [lang id =1028]圓 school.
